Every now & then they let me out of my jacket.

BTW: Does anyone remember the Jackie Gleason movie "GIGOT"? Is that Joba Chamberlain.

Real tough loss today. This would have been a big win.

Kuroda pitches a fine game to lose against a God Dam debut starter and a couple of cast offs like Chambermaind an Coke. Now facing the Blue Jays to whom they have lost the last two series. Figured the Yankees needed six of these seven road games to stay in the hunt. A sweep in Toronto is needed to get five with help needed from other teams to keep the other also rans at bay.

The trouble with the Yankees is that you never know what team is going to show up. This was certainly not the same team that beat the piss out of a cy young pitcher less then 24 hours ago.

Very simply no hitting. Tex leads the charge of an underachieving offense. I've been on him all season and rightly so. Batting .229 with his across the board numbers just getting worse and worse.

And I can't say it enough 2 more years & $45M. Over $70M between him, CC & A-Rod next season. What a waste.

Tex never has been a leader on the Yankees. He usually melded in
with others leading the charge. Next year can take its time in arriving....
Yankee management has failed in getting someone to fill Jeter's
captaincy. There's definitely no one in their farm system ( otherwise,
that person would be on the roster already). Then again, it will be
a team without any player captain.
Not really looking forward to watching aging players going
    through the motions.

Mark my words, its going to be a VERY long time before the Yankees have another captain.
