Its a big loss but i'm not sure how big of a loss. A good test will be how good their Pass Rush is against the Cowboys who look to have one hell of a good offensive line this year. Personally I want to see how the 49er's offense looks with a healthy Crabtree and some more down field threats more then I want to see if there D is either above average or Elite.
Oh man... every single reply is just annoying as hell. They flipped out because Schefter said "bad timing." Get over it people! He was simply saying that it was bad timing for the Niners on the heels of the Aldon Smith thing, and it was really bad timing for McDonald because of the new rules that were just released. I really hate our country sometimes.
