Even if the Yankees were willing to pay half of his remaining $45M they still wouldn't be able to unload him.

While Seattle and Kansas City were getting their tails whipped the Yankee elected to get their asses kicked by the Blue Jays for a third consecutive series. After a three game series with KC the Yankees remaining games are with Eastern Division teams. The current winning percentage of this team is .461 and should that trend continue the Yankees would win 11 of the remaining 24 and probably finish as the "experts" predicted with around 82 wins. This team needed 6/7 to stay in the hunt finishing 3/4 with good pitching and no backup by the spineless position players. I sure miss the days when you'd watch Yankee Games confident that they were going to show on a daily basis. The Katzenjammer Kids need to get some knowledgeable baseball people on board who can rebuild this team in a successful manner. And just think next year we'll se Tex, CC, and media hog druggie A-rod back in camp. Jesus Christ this has been an ugly year. At least the Yankees didn't choke (see Oakland) they just never were. If I were Girardi I'd grab Cashman by the stacking swivel and kick his ass.

Cushman's ex would be more than happy to kick his ass. Some teams in the hunt might be interested in Tex or some of that other crap. Good time to flush.

Why would teams in the hunt be interested in Tex? Makes no fucking sense.

...Oh, haven't you heard?...other teams are perfectly willing to jettison their value prospects in return for the Yanx's refuse, just for the privilege of doing business with the almighty Yanx.
