Where would you rank a prime Dennis Rodman against today's Power Forwards?

Top 3 defiently, he was amazing in the days of big men like Robinson, Ewing, Hakeem. Now with todays game, he would be getting 20+ rebounds a game, probably matchup better when defending PFs, scoring wise though would stay the same probably.

I would rank Dennis Rodman in the top five. I think that Tim Duncan, Kevin Garnett, and Dirk Nowitzki are still better than Dennis Rodman because they are the leaders of their teams, while Dennis Rodman won his championships with Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen. He lacks the offensive skills to be a top three power forward in the league today but he would be one of the best power forwards in the league and one of the best defensive players in the league.

A rebounding mad man, great defensive player, but no top 5 power forward. Top ten? Yes.

Who would you guys rank in front of him? Please don't say Ben Wallace...<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>I would rank Dennis Rodman in the top five. But look what he did in Detroit. He helped lead Detroit to 2 straight NBA championships as well. He was the best defensive player on one of the best defensive teams in history. Also, People forget he also lead the SA Spurs to the best record in the league and the Western Conference Finals in his short stint with them. He has always been a winner. In his FIRST season with the Bulls they improved 25 games, from 47 to an NBA record 72 wins. He is one of the best rebounders in HISTORY.Take a look at his crazy amount of accomplishments:NBA Champion (1989, '90, '96, '97, '98)NBA All-Defensive First Team (1989, '90, '91, '92, '93, '95, '96)NBA Defensive Player of the Year Award (1990, '91)NBA Top Rebounds-per-Game (1992, '93, '94, '95, '96, '97, '98)NBA Top Total Rebounds (1992, '93, '94, '98)NBA Top Offensive Rebounds (1991, '92, '93, '94, '96, '97)NBA Top Defensive Rebounds (1992, '94, '98)[IMG]

If its the Rodman of Detroit or Chicago he'd be a top 5, if its the distracted disinterested Rodman of San Antonio than maybe top 15. Rodman was a great defender but he got inside his own head and would screw himself over.

I'd have him in the Top Ten right now. I can think of a few that are better than him. Also, depends on if you consider Emeka, Bosh, Gasol, and Howard as 4 or 5's. Lets say you consider them 4's like I do. 1.Dirk2.Duncan3.Garnett4.Bosh5.Gasol6.Dwight Howard7.Emeka8.Elton BrandNOTE: This list is just players I'd take over Rodman, not how I rank them. Those 8 players right now I'd pick above a prime Rodman. The thing that's hard about this is that everyone knows that Rodman will always be a 5th option on offense. Not a great talent in that respect. Let's say you had a great scoring guard like Wade, LeBron, or Kobe, I'd have Rodman higher on the list, but let's say you dont have a great scorer on the team, I could add players like Amare, Jermaine O'Neal, and possibly Zach Randolph on that list as well. Depends on what you need. I think he'll always be one of the top 5 rebounders, defenders, and just plain hustle players in the league's history.

Top 3... Hell, in terms of personal favourites, I'd rank him #1... But I think KG and Elton Brand are a bit better, if only because they do what he did, plus can score... But Dennis is a WAY better rebounder and defensive player than either one of 'em... I wish he'd come back, but I think he's way too old now... [IMG]

I'm going top 6. Elton Brand, KG, Tim Duncan, Dirk, Chris Bosh, and Dennis Rodman. Rodman would be right ahead of Gasol in my books.
