    We go to the bottom of the 8th with an unfair advantage as we only get 2 outs. Drew has to be considered an automatic out so if anything is going to happen it has to be Headley or Suzuki.

    The good news is that this puts to an end any silly notions that this team was still alive. The ninth inning pretty much summed up this season. Gardner for all the good he does strikes out way too often. Beltran then reminds all Met fans of his leave the bat on his shoulder called strike antics. I have no idea what in the hell he was looking at.
