Done really nice with some surprise guests including Dave Winfield, Cal Ripkin & Michael Jordan. But again no Andy Pettitte.

All in all though, very nicely done.

And BTW: Am I the only one that thinks George's daughter Jennifer is a pretty good looking P.O.A.?

Why No Andy??? I don't get it, I'm sure Mo', and Posada will be there, or will they? I hope so.

And- Yep, I think your the only one Rick-LOL. After all she is no Jessica Alba....!

Why not give him his Monument the last day of Yankee Play....Hell I'm game he's deserved as much, A Yankee Legend....!

Well Rob not many are a Jessica Alba except J-Lo but you have to remember that Jennifer Stienbrenner is around 60. I just think she looks pretty good for her age.

As far as the ceremony yes Jorge & Mariano was there, as was Tino, Reggie, Tim Raines, Torre, O'Neill, Bernie Williams, & a few others. Plus he received some nice on the air tributes from several celebrities.

He wasn't there for Torre's day either. And I don't think he made Tino's plaque day.

This Jeter day was not exactly a last minute decision. It was planned months ago. I guess he had a planned trip with the boys on Torre's day also.

I understand the need to take a trip, go camping in the remote High Sierra Nevada's to Fish, Hike, et al.

I only wish Andy would of planned a stop over to the Bronx to Honor Mr. RE2PECT...!

Yankee fans who can afford seats to a ceremony making asses of themselves? How shocking.

Tough team to watch this year. Glad I have youth baseball.

Just watched again, Winfield looks like he can still suit up and play. Just mortified that the Yankees got their a@@es kicked. Three games three of five KC runs unearned jus a God Dam Disgrace. Looks like the boys are going to miss post season unless a miracle occurs.

Michael for the $400+M they invested in Ellsbury, Beltran McCann & Tanaka I was really looking forward to a great season. Even predicted a 90-95 win season. Very disappointing the way the season played out. Not the way I wanted to see it end for the captain. Reminds me of the way it ended for our last captain.
