S. Greene 4-2 3.88 ERA vs. Y Ventura 11-9 3.38 ERA Today's lineup..................... Ellsbury Jeter Prado Beltran McCann Teixeira Drew Headley Suzuki Not trying to get on Girardi but there's just NO WAY I'm putting a 161 hitter (138 as a Yankee) & 1 for his last 20 in a MUST WIN game. And as a DH I could think of other players I'd rather have in there today. Now watch, he'll have a multi hit game. I wish.
This is going to be a short afternoon for Greene, already 54 pitches in only 2 innings. Royals lead 1 zip.
...terrible non call by both the HP Ump and the 1B Ump...Greene threw the ball like a girl to Tex but Aoki was never in between the two lines going to 1B. He ran inside the 1B line the whole way and should have been called out, thus saving a run...not sure what the Umps were looking at. ...terrible, simply terrible.
...another defensive miscue...the throw clearly beat the runner...all McCann had to do was turn around and apply the tag...this is like watching T-Ball.
He learned that watching old films of the early 60s Mets. Between that & Greene's girl toss to first this is beginning to look like a bad afternoon. At least the Jets are winning.
This offense is just pathetic. Like I've been saying, you just never know what Yankee team is going to show up.
Cannot watch this pathetic offense anymore. Just disgusting. They better have some tricks up their sleeve for 2015 because you cannot return with this complete garbage.
It doesn't really say who he's blaming. And maybe he should look at football & Basketball before he starts pointing fingers.
Why complain. Get that fucking brainless Cashman out of there. Power that jacks the ball to one side of the field swinging for homers and assistant coaches waiting for Joe to fail. The whole fucking team is a mess and Jeter take your distraction on the road home.
I mean does anyone expect a 38 year old Beltran to improve in 2015? Tex has declined for years here now that he's off the juice. McCann might improve slightly but not in a matter that's going to drastically improve the offense.
