    Sterling reaped 2-3 times the actual value of his franchise by being "forced" to sell his team to a politically liberal billionaire.

    I've been wondering if any of the other owners were smart enough to join the game.

    How many more will follow suit, since every last one of them is racist? :dunno:

    Yep. For $2 billion, a lot of rich sociopaths would dig up their nastiest emails and turn themselves in. Maybe this will help contract the league by two teams and get a team to Seattle again.

    honestly, from the bits i've seen it doesn't look 'racist' to me. it's just such a fine emotional and temperamental line - is saying blacks do this, whites do this... based off your own observations, racist now?
    can you imagine if white people were at the core of his frustrations? nobody would give a shit.
    it's like in the UFC, the current HW champ has a tattoo of 'Brown Pride' across his chest and its cool, brave and proud because he's in an apparent minority. could you imagine the shit that'd blow up if someone like Alexander Gustaffsson (swedish) had 'White Pride' on his chest?

    Talking about any minority:
    Positively = good
    Negatively = racist, negative

    Talking about a majority (relative term...):
    Positively = racist, hater, oppressive
    Negatively = good, trying to change things, bring balance.

    You never know what skeletons Paul Allen might have in his closet, but I think he is a very passionate, kind hearted and progressive type person and a great refection of the Portland community. Portland is lucky to have him as the owner of the Blazers.

    I don't know if many people would get their knickersin a twist if someone had an Irish Pride or Italian Pride tattoo, but white pride, yes. Feeling an affinity to your cultural heritage is one thing, but race is another.

    People feel proud to belong to a certain "club". That in itself is a little bit lame, but I think saying "white pride" or "brown pride" is racist in that it's implying that people are separate just because of skin color.
