    I was wrong, they didn't win the B1G with Hoke but they beat VaTech in the sugar bowl in 2012.

    Anyone else see John's presser on the matter?

    <SMH>

    Dude, you've got evidence, you had it to begin with, DV ain't cool at all, he fucking cold-cocked her. Give us something. Don't play it off like its nothing. I lost a lot of respect for him after seeing his PC.

    Yeah. The one bright season in several disappointing seasons. I thought they'd turned a corner, but I'm not sure after last season. We'll see, but barring a terrible 2014, Hoke has earned a little bit of a leash (at least through next year, again, barring a decent 2014).

    So you think someone should be fired immediately if they are accused of something? You're comfortable with that? I don't care if it's obvious that he committed a crime or not. Wait and see if he's actually charged with something. Good grief. Should the Niners have cut Kaepernick as soon as that girl accused him of a crime? I get that right now everyone is out to get anyone accused of domestic violence, but we have this thing in America called due process. Innocent until proven guilty. Do you think someone should just be fired and cast out as soon as they're accused of something? He might be guilty, and if he is he should be cut, but you have to at least give him a chance to prove his innocence before you put him in front of a firing squad.

    Funny thing about the Kaep situation is he wasn't there. It supposedly was a confrontation with a C-awks player that lead to the police call. No matter, none of the players were involved in a crime, but if we'd have jumped on the situation without due process, a lot of players are tarnished.

    Rice knocked out a tiny woman and let her fall. Had he hit her at a different angle or had she fallen a different way or had her head been tilted a bit she could be dead.
    Anyone here making excuses for him needs to turn in their man card.

    You've clearly not read a single post in this thread, but responded as though you had. Par for the course, I suppose.

    I've seen nobody defend Rice, nor make any real excuse on his behalf. Dude got what he deserved. The only thing I've seen is people complaining the way it's been handled, the double-jeopardy (myself included).

    I'm not defending Rice at all, but I'm curious what the reaction would be if a skinny/small man hit him? The argument that's being made by a few here is that she posed no threat to him. So I'm curious how people would feel if a skinny guy hit someone as big as Rice, would you be outraged if he knocked him out, or would you be saying "oh shit! He got knocked the fuck out!"

    Actually, I'm also curious how people would feel if she kicked him in the balls first. I read a thread on Reddit recently about a guy who claimed to be kicked in the balls by a woman completely unprovoked, someone he didn't even know, and when she attempted to do it a second time he pushed her away. Do you think a man is justified to defend himself against a woman, and if so, what would the circumstances be? A shot to the nuts can do permanent damage to a man. It can cause serious damage that requires surgery. I don't care how big a man is, a shot to the balls can bring him to his knees.

    I pretty much just skip over anything he posts. They're usually irrelevant to the conversation.

    the poster you were responding to when I quoted you? SlyPokerDog is just a blatant troll, and am always confused why he lasts and people like you engage him at all in an y sort of serious way thinking he means whatever the fuck he says.

    It wasn't meant as a joke.

    But you got the meaning. Thought it was obvious. :cheers:
