    I like a mix of characters, and I get it in most shows. But 3 of your 4 examples have multiracial casts, effectively scuttling the point you were trying to make. I've never heard of Mom.

    For a network that focuses on racially unbalanced shows BET or Telemundo are the only ones that come to mind.

    It really doesn't, since these BET watchers that you're decrying haven't expressed any overtly racist sentiments, as Sterling did.

    Watching a station that has black people on it doesn't count as being overly racist unless you're really, really desperate.

    Kunal Nayyar is an Indian actor. He moved from India to the US in 1999. He first moved to Portland, Oregon, to study business. He started acting in plays as a way of making new friends. He took acting classes, but he went on to graduate from the University of Portland with a degree in business, as something to fall back on.

    Apparently not, which would indicate that it really isn't racist at all. Certainly none of the snippets I've seen contain any racist statements at all. Exactly the opposite in fact.
