Crack Head Rizzo and Baldy Locks Bill Ripken pretty much wrote off the Yankees today. I see that Gardner & Prado are not playing. Playoff chances are slipping away but they can at least try for some God Damn respect. Joe G still thinks there is a run for this team and he knows them better than I. Hope the Yankees at least do right by Tanaka, no sense in wasting him with 21 games left. What a shit season this has turned out to be.

Down 3-0 in the third. This is going to be a painful final 20 games.

Kuroda in another late season slide. Captain lines into double play, team can't catch a God Dam break.

What a bullshit call, if that wasn't blocking the plate I don't know what is.

...I don't why they implemented that rule if they're not going to enforce it.

Once again 4 runs scored by an opposing team appears to be insurmountable!

... base running decisions that didn't pan out by players and coaches...lines drives hit right at people...barely missed HRS...bad luck in general.

Harder you work, the luckier you get. Just a lazy, no urgency team.....like everyone is making up for Cano. Can't say I'm impressed by Jeter's leadership, there is a going through the motions air about this team.

... Jeter is now a leader in title only. And the 4-5-6 spots are an offensive black hole, and have to be the worst in Baseball.

I'm a huge Jeter fan, always have been but I swear I've never seen a player hit as many ground balls as he does. He just can't get any lift on that ball. I said at the beginning of the season that I'd be okay if he finished at 250 but I really didn't think he'd hit that low, especially when he's pretty much been in the 270s all season long. But ever since around August 5th he's hit like he's a guy that's just burnt out.

Head Yallof rake Jeter over the coals yesterday saying his performance levels must be raised if the Yankee wish to make post season. Newsflash the whole God Damn teal is underperforming. And yes while fans may not like the errors and GIDPS they will continue to run him out there because fans wasn't to see him. Worse thing is that there is nothing to look forward to when the three stooges, CC, A-rod, and Tex show up on their broken down nags next spring. Gonna take a lot of hungry young sponges to clean those three dirt bags. And we'll probably see Cashman back as well. As the paratroopers used to say Jumping Jesus Christ.

...if he is given a new contract maybe the Cashman haters will finally realize that "accountability" does not stop at the GM's office. And if the Steins are content with the status quo, well, they have no one to blame but themselves...and make no mistake about it, they are just as much to blame as anyone. Hal and Hank were given the keys to Lamborghini, but they simply do not have the athletic experience and passion for winning that George did...and now that Lamborghini has become an Edsel...and that's being kind.
...I'd like to see Jeter form an ownership group and buy out the Steins and then put real Baseball people in positions to make the necessary decisions that will return the franchise back to its proper place in Baseball.

Michael with all due respect at this point it really doesn't matter who Girardi puts outs there, the yankees are not making the playoffs again this year, plain & simple. Hell I don't even think the'll match last seasons win total of 85.
