Perfectly simple. All the material from two giant skyscrapers fell down, and then blasted outward at ground level like the pyroclastic flow from a volcano, which devastated the bottom floors without damaging the structural integrity of the rest of the building. When the support structure finally failed, it caused the building to collapse as a unit.
The official story is that Bush had the buildings rigged with explosives to bring them down, inflaming sentiment so that he could get his war. That's why he doesn't look surprised when informed of 9/11. Wookie's theory is what a few conspiracy nutcases believe, imagining a giant conspiracy in which Al Qaeda was able to simultaneously make a bunch of US airliners crash exactly where they wanted.
is it really outside the realm of possibility to some of you that we arent being told the whole truth?
Then would it be surprising that we didn't "find" WMDs in Iraq? They had all the reason in the world to "find" them By "find" I mean send in some Ollie North types to plant WMDs to be found.
I for one have never been believed we've been told the whole truth. IMO, there is no way in hell the training the terrorists received in small planes here in the USA would be enough knowledge and skill to pilot the large commercial planes that perfectly hit their targets. At the time of the attacks there was only one commercial aircraft flight simulator in the middle east and that was in Saudi Arabia, run by their air force. While I don't think the Saudi air force knew what the terrorists were planning I do think the terrorists trained there. Much of the terrorist's connections to Saudi Arabia has been deleted from the public record for national security reasons.
I know, we've had this discussion before. You always post that same link when it addresses conspiracies I don't mention or believe in. Since some of the funding and terrorists came from Saudi Arabia it is not inconceivable to believe that they didn't receive some training there as well. There is one way to prove or disprove this, give 100 random people the training that the official 9/11 report said the terrorists received and see if 75 of them can hit their targets in flight simulators.
I've never posted that link before. The key thing in that document is the actual training and level of license the hijackers had. They were well trained. I used to crash planes into the hancock building in MS Flight Simulator all the time. It's simply not that hard to do. 3 of the 4 hijackers were able to crash into big buildings. 75% success rate.
That's why I said 75 out of a 100 in a controlled simulation. See if the 75% success rate can be duplicated.
