    ...for whatever reason, Sabean is not sensationalized as much as Beane and others...he's an "under the radar" GM...actually from what I've read, Beane tries to stay out of the public eye too and generally avoids interviews and likes to live a secluded "Walden" type existence in Oregon.

    So, lets see....according to '59's logic-
    Beane's teams would win close to 100 games (at least!) every year if he had a similiar budget to what Cashman's Yankees have been operating with.

    And for the time being I'll just stick to this pertinent fact:
    Beanes' teams have won ONE playoff series since 2000.

    Thank you very much.

    Oh, by the way, you are nuts!

    ...lmao...lemme get this straight, you don't think the Yanx would be worse with Cashman on a $70 Mil budget?...and you don't think the A's would be better with Beane and a $200+ Mil budget?...that's idiotic, even for you.

    ...also funny how you get stuck on one stat as the only measuring stick...the A's are 200+ games over .500 during Beane's tenure, but because the players have come up short in short 5 and 7 game series in the PS, Beane is to blame. You obvious have no idea how hard it is for a team to even reach the PS much less win it all.. Again, other people's opinions have countered yours, and other stats have countered yours, yet still, with only 1 stat to arm yourself with, you act as if you've won your case....but yeah, I'm the one who's nuts.

    ...great retort, nice dodge...now answer the questions;

    1...you don't think the Yanx would be worse with Cashman on a $70 Mil budget?

    2...you don't think the A's would be better with Beane and a $200+ Mil budget?

    3...you don't think the Yanx would have done better the last 15+ years with Beane running the farm and using the Steins checkbook?

    Yes - For the record I do not think he should be the GM. I think it is time for a new voice and ideas.

    No and No to the next 2 questions.

    ...hey Jetes, how's it been goin'?

    ...the response to the questions has pretty much been universal...but these kinds of questions are born out of boredom and the fact that the Yanx are painful to watch this year...and I assume that's the reason why you have not been around as much?...I hope it has nothing to do with your health situation.

    Hey 59, all is well with me. I am so bored and over this Yankees team it is hard to watch them let alone talk about them. They keep making the same mistakes year after year and next year will be no different especially bringing the same GM back.
