    ...if Tanaka can pitch 2 games like this with no discomfort, I think the question will have been answered...and he'll have about 6 months to allow the elbow to fully mend.

    ...very encouraging so far.

    Top 3 6 for 11, add Ichiro 2/3. Too bad we couldn't have had this earlier and at more critical times. McCanns bat has really livened up in the 2d hald, as for Jeter go out smoking.

    ...yup, as bad as he was in the first 1/2, he's been equally as good in the second 1/2.

    Not a surprise, rational people expected him to need some time to adjust to the AL, and the East in particular.

    Comments were made during the Pittsburgh/Milwaukee game that "many Yankee Fans wish that Martin had never left" I'll take McCann any day of the week. He starting to go the other way more and getting the bombs. Love the way he handled the pitching staff not an easy chore given all the injuries and whatnot.
