Who's your prediction for number one pick? Will it be someone on defense, like Paul Polsuszny from Penn State? Will it be Troy Smith from OSU? And what will happen with Adrian Peterson?Answer these questions in this thread.
Depends on who gets the top picks. The best QB is obviously Brady Quinn, the best WR is obviously Calvin Johnson, the best RB is obviously Adrian Peterson (although I really question his durability) and the best defensive player in the draft will be Quentin Moses. I don't think Paul Posluszny will go really high like AJ Hawk did last year unless a team has an extreme need for him. Joe Thomas could go really high if a teams need a star LT but I don't know if he will go top 5 or not. Again, depends on the team needs.

I've seen Calvin Johnson and Quenton Moses play a bunch, both of them are future stars..Adrian Peterson is 6'2, and he's got great speed, and great strength, with some good balance and moves.
I think Adrian Peterson would be number one if he hadn't broken his collarbone. I bet the Giants could pick him up late in the first or second. He'd be a good replacement for Tiki.I like Brady Quinn as a QB, but he really didn't live up to expectations this year. He is still the number one QB in the draft. Is Troy Smith leaving OSU?
AD is still high first round material. Depending on his bowl proformance, and maybe proformance aginst OSU. I doubt he falls to late first or second
There's no way Adrian Peterson would fall past the 5th pick. Injuries could be a question but he played all his freshman year, injuries effected 4 games his sophomore year and this year has missed 5 I believe. It's an issue no doubt. I don't care for Brady Quinn much either, I thought Notre Dame's and his expectations were WAY too high to start the season...he's going to be a top QB in the draft...it's not a big QB year.
Peterson is defintiely the best back, but if I was picking up in the top few picks his durability and injury proneness would definitely be something I would take a long hard look at before taking him. He's way better than the 2nd best back that willl be available, but would it be worth the risk of him getting injured?
Michael Bush was also looking incredibile before he broke his leg, or withe..He's a big back like Peterson with alot of speed.
I personally think Peterson will slip to at least the #10 pick, I just think. Also, I'll bank on the Raiders going with Quinn at the #3 spot. No way is Peterson deserving the #1 pick though.

He's the most talented back in the league, the best physical attributes, he's only a Junior. I don't see why he's not worthy of being a top 3 pick.
BCB is right. He is worthy of a top 3 pick, he has it all, teams up there just need to decide if the risk of him getting hurt is worth the reward of getting a potential star running back.
I'd say its either 100% that they are going to go with Brady Quinn or Calvin Johnson. God knows they need both2007 Draft OrderPick Team 1. Oakland 2. Detroit <--- NOT A WIDE RECIEVER PLEASE GOD!3t. Chances are they go for Adrian Johnson too. They need a playmaker, I expect Brady or Troy Smith to go to the Raiders though. Now about Detroit: I don't know who they should get with the first pick. Probably a offensive lineman. I don't want a new QB with the first pick. Give me Brennan from Hawaii.
I would guess either Brady Quinn or Calvin Johnson. Man, I saw Calvin play yesterday. Amazing wide reciever. He's going to be a stud in the NFL.
OAK should not take Peterson and leave him for the Browns.I see them taking Brady for some reason tho.
The Raiders shuld go with Troy Smith. He's a proven winner, he can pass the ball deep to Moss, and he can also run the ball. He would be a nice fit into their struggling franchise.

You go with Brady Quinn, he's easily the best in this draft class. The Raiders can have Peterson or Johnson but they won't win anything without a good QB giving them the ball. This team should and will draft Brady Quinn.

He's 6'8" 315 and is tough and a great athlete. Jeff Backus is not a very good LT, I'm not sure how good Jonathan Scott was this year for you.
