Bob Dylan is set to be honoured as the 2015 MusiCares Person Of The Year on February 6, with the likes of Beck, Tom Jones and Norah Jones being amongst artists that are going to perform versions of his songs at the pre-Grammys gala. Carole King and Bruce Springsteen have both received the honour previously, since it was created in 1989, and Dylan will now bag the award, as fellow musicians like Jack White, Neil Young and The Black Keys take to the stage to belt out some of the 10 Grammy-award winner's classics. "[Dylan's] body of creative work has contributed to America's culture, as well as that of the entire world, in genuinely deep and lasting ways," Neil Portnow, the head of the MusiCares Foundation and The Recording Academy, said, according to the BBC. "Bob Dylan's songwriting ability is unmatched, and it will be an extraordinary evening to hear his work showcased by such a remarkable group of artists," Bill Silva, chair of the MusiCares Foundation Board, also added.
