Hell of a game, even though the Lakers are struggling a bit in the 2nd half. But that was a HUGE play by Kwame. Excellent pass, big play. Kwame Brown has been excellent tonight. He's terrible from the line as usual, but his rebounding, hustle, and defense tonight has been excellent. EDIT: Luke hits the dagger, good win for the Lakers. Kobe was exceptional (40 points on very efficient play). He really attacked the basket tonight, and I loved it. Kwame was exceptional (see my first paragraph). Luke Walton had a solid night. Lamar Odom couldn't get many shots to fall, but he had a couple good plays in the 4th. Bynum was ok, but he got into foul trouble early. I thought Mo Evans played good defense, as usual, and Smush Parker had a nice all around game. For the Clips, Brand was exceptional for my fantasy team lol. Cassell knocked down some jumpers. Livingston had an excellent 4th quarter. Kaman had a very nice night, but Dunleavy made a bad decision by putting him into the game with 7 minutes left, when he had 5 fouls. It was a good game, a lot of runs. Good win for the Lakers.
Kobe bryant dropped 40 and shut down his counterpart. Great 1 on 1 and great team d. Just stellar game. Kwame at times was shaky but boy oh man, without his hustle the game would've been lost. Lamar was on the ganja for half of the game.
Can someone please tell me another player in this league who can drop 40/5/5 shooting over 50% with 3 steals and some of the best defense a player can play, playing at 75-80%? Seriously man, that guy was sick.

His explosiveness definitely isn't where it usually is. I think it's a credit to his all around game though that he is still able to dominate without stellar athleticism. You put Dwyane Wade in this situation and he's done.

well, that may be due to the fact that the Lakers used to be the best team in the league for a certain stretch. Now that they have been playing in the same arena for a while, they are in the same city, and they are in the same divison competing for first place, it could be considered a rivalry. Just not one of the past...
They've never played in a playoff series, there's been no bad blood between the teams, I don't see the rivalry. They play in the same arena, so what?
