Actually I dont think that the Hornets can when it all Celticballa, I just think its stupid that u made a big deal that someone said the Hornets could be contenders, but other teams that the Hornets are equal to or better than u have no problem with people sayiing that they are contenders

I understand you have a Chris Paul sig and all, you like them (as do I), but the Hornets are not an elite team in the NBA, I'm sorry. Jus because they got off to a nice 8-3 start does not put them ahead of or in the same sentence as Dallas (7-4), Miami (4-6), Detroit (6-5), Phoenix (4-6), Cleveland (8-3), and New Jersey (5-5). Those teams, including the Jazz (if they stay healthy), and the Lakers, are contenders. Chicago as well. The New Orleans Hornets are a playoff team, most likely, but a championship contender? NO

Yes I agree with you, I already said that the Hornets cant win the championship this year, but my point the Hornets shouldnt be taking a back seat to the Jazz, Nets, Bulls, Lakers ect. If you wanna isolate the contenders by the teams that are proven and were contenders last year, thats fine. Miami, Detroit, San Antoinio, Phoenix, and Dallas would be considered the preseason contenders, and actually now that I think of it I dont think Detroit belongs in that group. And dont say that its early in the season, and that the record shouldnt really be looked at to carefully, because thats the only reason why your mentioning the Jazz
