God if they played anyone good, they would have at least two losses by now. Clemson choked and NC State is horrible. The Seminoles shouldn't even be in the top four right now.
I noticed that as well and thought the same thing. One could make an argument that NC State actually outplayed FSU but didn't have the players to stay fresh enough and win the game.
UCLA might as well have been playing Portland State, cause ASU showed us about zilch to gauge the Bruins by. That said, Virginia and Texas both made a point that UCLA is far from consistent! Utah takes them out next week!
Either Oregon is over-rated or Oregon coaching staff is holding back different packages on offense and defense for later in the season. In either case, it doesn't make me happy but we'll see.
I picked Wazzu to upset UTAH this last weekend but still stand by my hunch that UTAH will in fact beat UCLA on Sat. UCLA has been sneaking by teams and ASU gave up 3rd quarter of their game against the BRUINS so who knows on those inflated stats.... UTAH will get to Hundley and often... The least we'll get out of their game, the UTES will soften um up for us!
When I think of UCLA in the big picture, I have to throw out the ASU game due to the injury to Taylor Kelly. With that said, I agree with you that UCLA has looked less than solid. The problem with Utah is that they can't put points on the board and their normally good defense wears out so I still have to go with UCLA over Utah but I think it will be a close game most of the way.
Utah away scares me more than UCLA does especially in the cold of Nov! I hope Utah gives us one hell of a blueprint this weekend!
Utah doesn't scare me because I think our depth would wear them down and it doesn't matter if it's in Utah or Oregon. UCLA does scare me to some extent because they have better athletes up front than Oregon does.
