Re: I'm going with 57 wins! I didn't catch that. That is pretty bold but I can't say I don't like it.
Re: I'm going with 57 wins! Well. No player went out and said 60+ wins on Media day so I figure it's a lock!
Re: I'm going with 57 wins! 60 Wins. WCF against the Spurs. Fuck Spencer Hawes.... And Westbrook will get hurt again (which also makes me think they would play better without him).
Re: I'm going with 57 wins! This is exactly what I thought but I have to add championship at the end.
Re: I'm going with 57 wins! Just to spite Fonzthecpt1, I think I'm going to change my answer to 59 wins actually.
Re: I'm going with 57 wins! I always believed it was 58 anyways, I just had to get you and Sly to change your votes.
Re: I'm going with 57 wins! Well if you include the end of last years regular season at 9-1 we could go 91-1? Nah...Lets just stick with 57 wins and enjoy the ride.
Re: I'm going with 57 wins! Undefeated at home, sweep the bottom feeders on the road, split the road games with contenders.
Re: I'm going with 57 wins! You know that is a great point Riverman, if we want to become an elite team those teams simply do not lose at home. That is the kind of step that we need to take. We lost 10 games at home and 18 games on the road last year. Games we lost at home last year: HOU DAL MIA PHI MEM OKC SAS LAL GSW PHX We need to cut that 10 in half to be an elite team. I think we can find 3 other games outside of PHI and LAL that we should have beat anyway that we could have won as well. That changes our record to 59-23 which would have tied us for 2nd in the West with OKC. This is where we make our jump. Or if you want to look at road games there are some games we should have easily won there too. @MIN @SAC @ORL And I wonder if we went back and looked at those bad losses how many of those games our bench lost. Our bench will be quite a bit better this year.
Re: I'm going with 57 wins! Yep. You got to win the games you are supposed to win and that includes the close ones at home.
Re: I'm going with 57 wins! 49 would be tough. That would probably be trying to win without home court the entire way. But hey, all it takes is one win on the road and it works out fine.
Re: I'm going with 57 wins! Love the Blazers starting 5, I think Blazers can ride them in the playoffs. But over the course of a whole season, think it will be hard to top last year's win total . . .
Re: I'm going with 57 wins! Yeah I guess I am way high at 57 but that's the way it looks to me. There are reason odds makers make the odds the way they do but I can't see this team doing worse unless the injury bug comes around. There is also something to be said for the fact that the east did get a little better and there just might not be as many wins to spread around the west this year?
Re: I'm going with 57 wins! Your thread has taken off so I'm going to change the thread title to "Blazer 2014-15 season win total predictions." That way it will be easier to find when the season is over.
