Wasn't that the mayor of Toronto? How did he get away with that? Sent from my Baller-Ass 5.5" iPhone 6+......... FAMS
@NetsDaily: Prokhorov paid $223M for shares of Nets/Barclays in 2010. Now valued at $2.8B. Sent from my Baller-Ass 5.5" iPhone 6+......... FAMS
How can you mix up Masai Ujiri and Rob Ford?! For real though, that's the GM of the Raps, and Tim Leiweke chuckling in the background.
After you posted that this morning, I went and watched some Rob Ford vids. Holy cow that was fun watching that clown melt down last year. What a buffoon. You can't write that stuff. He's like Chris Farley's evil twin. Two thumbs up.
I've heard of house flipping - this is NBA franchise flipping? I don't think it can be good for the league. Although better than Donald Sterling owning a team until it's pried from his claw-like fingers.
Who paid for the Barclay's Center? Did Prokhorov? I'm assuming he had to if he owns it, but this is the NBA.... If so, the flipping value isn't quite such a crazy discrepancy.
What's crazy is didn't the owner during the last lockout get the players to take less because they weren't making any money. Sent from my Baller-Ass 5.5" iPhone 6+......... FAMS
I read somewhere awhile back that Prokhorov was running for office in Russia and owning the Nets was a conflict of interest for his bid to get on the ticket. He also just watched Sterling cash out with a big profit so business is business when you've got that kind of scratch. Spike Lee should buy the Nets
Better get his money before the value depreciates. Boston is going to be very happy with the.KG/Pierce deal.
