One more preseason game and then we're ready to go on Thursday. I'm looking forward to a better start to the season as compared to that nightmare last year.

I just get the feeling that most of the kids are going to
Hartford.......with call ups as the season progresses.

like what i saw in preseason, BUT, will it be good enough to overcome the weaknesses we have on defense, 1 player i dont need to mention, done it enough! and the other # 5 who was on ice for all 3 goals vs the dev's...

    lets go rangers

Am I the only one thoroughly unimpressed with Stempniak?

I wasn't that impressed with him either and would rather see one of the kids in his place. Now may be the time to trade guys like him and klein to teams like the islanders, buffalo and edmonton e.g. that have multiple draft picks but might want a veteran presence to help out with their younger players.

Five games in seven days to kick off the season.

Well, at least 4 are home plus one with the devils so not much traveling compared with last season. If we can get by the first 2 could get off to a nice fast start this season.

He's a seasoned vet, so I wouldn't put too much into him not doing much in the preseason. He'll be fine.

The west is best. Any of the west's top 6 teams will
beat the team coming out of the east. There are no
    beasts in the east.

Cage, while i agree the west is best I think the ranger showed last year losing 3 OT games that could easily have gone the other way they can play with any of them.
