Yep, he still has that stupid little paper in his hands acting like some kind of defensive guru as his Jets continue to stumble around with their prehistoric offense.

His blow-hard brother is supposed to be some kind of defensive whiz..but his defenses have been less than stellar. He's at his best when the camera is on him.

He seriously needs to make a change in the 2nd half & give the ball to Vick. Even if the Jets lose this game (1-4) & Vick plays well, it'll give them something positive to look forward to next week. And listening to the half time crew I'm not the only one who thinks this.

4 of 12 for 27 yards in the 1st half totally sucks for a pro QB.

    Here's the Jets problem.

They have a coach who ...by all appearances and public knowledge fancies himself as DEFENSE first coach and OBVIOUSLY tolerates watching an unimaginative, stunted, predictable offense.

GOOD coaches put their foot down and demand MORE from both ends of the ball.

    There ya go.

They also have absolutely NO pass protection at all.

I've seen enough plays when the pass protection was good.
Not enough deep pass routes. Hardly any screen passes...no QB draws, that stupid wildcat horseshit where everyone knows it's going to be a run play.

I could on and on. Brain-dead offensive philosophy.

Also - NOT nearly enough blitzes on defense....but that's Rex' strong point...lol

Jets are just an absolute disaster. If you thought was Rivers did to them today was bad just wait until Peyton Manning lights then up. Might see a 49-0 loss next week.

I also just saw to many plays today's where there seems to be an open path like Moses parting the red sea where the defense was getting to Smith & Vick way to easy.

The 45 year rebuilding process for the Jets will continue. After this season it will be a new coach and they're going to have to draft a QB. Starting over again which is why you always hear the term same old Jets.

Do you really think if the Jets had good pass protection, they would be in the top third of the league in scoring?

They would still be running the ball (too often) on 3rd and 5, or throwing a 5 yard pass. lol
