They successfully made up for his lack of defense (mostly funneling everybody inside to Ratliff and Mutombo), and scored off of garbage buckets or of his penetration. Iverson needs a scrappy, defensive-minded squad around him to really be successful (and of course the right coach).Iverson has always been a volume scorer... the reason we are not winning right now (or last year for that matter) isn't our offense... it's our horrible defense. Webber's lack of lateral movement due to his knee surgery, coupled with Dalembert's tendencies to foul the opposing team like a madman is what is the root of our defensive problems. Not to mention Maurice Cheeks isn't a good defensive coach to begin with...Iguodala did have a triple double when AI didn't play... but that was ONE game. Look at how he performed in the other games without Iverson... not too good there, was he? Iverson is not holding Iguodala back... Iguodala just doesn't look to attack enough. This year he has improved on that aspect, and Webber's absence has forced him to become more of a playmaker. If anybody is holding Iguodala back (other than his own reluctance to be assertive offensively) it is Chris Webber, not Allen Iverson.

Reggie Miller deserves a ring still. If the Pacers ever win(but I doubt it, they suck), they need to get him one or something. Though I suppose that idea sucks since he didn't earn it but whatever.

All he did was score 19-21ppg and rack up tons of statistics because he never got injured. I liked Reggie Miller but he's wildly overrated by todays fans.
Yeah, but he was clutch as hell. 6 points, 8 seconds. That's not going to be done soon. I went nuts when Tayshaun blocked him. Reggie was a vocal guy and a pretty good leader too. Superman, away!

Superman, away!</div> He hit a lot of game winning shots...and he also missed a ton of them. I'll give him credit for the things he did against the Knicks, some of those last second shots were crazy. I watched Reggie Miller a lot when I was younger in the playoffs, so I know what I'm talking about.

He made it to the playoffs several times and had many times to get a chance at a ring, but he fell short everytime. Sure, he had his opsticales but every player/team does if they want to win a ring.
