I know Oden is hurt right now, and I know he has been lightly practicing lately, but I have some questions about him:

    1. What exactly is the injury, again? I knew this at one point, and it slipped my mind when my friend asked me.
    2. When will he return?

I can't wait to see him play against NCAA (and of course NBA) competition. I saw him play 3-4 times in high school and he always left me wide-eyed. He is a special talent.

I believe it was something with his right hand, if Im not mistaken. They were talking about this yesterday on SportsCenter.

He broke his right wrist. Coaches say he has gotten so good with his left hand now that some coaches forget he is right handed. He is supposed to be back in January, he will miss the Florida and UNC game.I will look for an article real quick and if I find one I will edit this post and stick it in here.

I saw him on ESPN today. He's practicing and all, but he's still tender with the wrist. Like Drake said, he's gotten so good with the left hand while being out, coaches forget he's right handed..

This injury was a blessing in disguise then, because if Oden now has a dominant left hand downlow as well, I can only imagine how much better he'll be when he's healthy. I can't wait to see this kid play against NCAA competition.

I have seen a site or two say he could come back in December some time. The end of December is when OSU plays Florida, so if those rumors are right, he may be able to get in that game. But I have heard way more Januarys than I have Decembers. So, I would go with the January. This is the best article I could find, it realy doesn't say anything though:<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Oden hurt his wrist during a game in February but played with the injury through the state tournament and then in two national All-Star games. Another visit to the doctor and a follow-up MRI early this week showed the injury had not healed, forcing him to drop out of the two-game Indiana-Kentucky All-Star series this weekend and next."It was a complete tear," Keefer said. "They put a screw in there, a clamp and whatever they do in there, and he (the doctor) felt very good about what took place."The coach compared the injury to a torn ACL in the knee and said the ligament in the wrist is what gives a player the ability to grip the basketball."You've just got to fix it. Fortunately they went in there, because it wasn't a partial tear. It was out," Keefer said.</div>Coach Matta says that they are not going to rush anything. They know Oden has about 15 years of basketball ahead of him and he says they want him to be able to get the best out of it.
