Maine state police have identified the 17-year-old killed when a haunted hayride careened out of control down a hill and sent passengers hurtling to the ground. Police say Cassidy Charette of Oakland died from injuries sustained in Saturday night's crash. More than 20 people were on board. A police spokesman says Cassidy was among a group of Messalonskee High School students at the Mechanic Falls farm. Another student — 16-year-old Connor Garland of Belgrade — was seriously injured and is being treated at Boston Children's Hospital.
