    Compared to the disgraces out there in the NFL, where everything is a flag, MLB, where umps are blind, and NBA, where games are fixed, yes, the NHL has the best officiating. Go watch a baseball game umpired by CB Buckner or Joe West, for f's sake, and tell me MLB has cracked down on incompetent umpiring.

    Yeah, no sport has anything on the NFL right now in terms of the officiating. Everything is a flag and that includes some downright phantom calls.

    I think right now officiating in all 4 of the major sports totally suck

    I don't disagree, but i think the NHL officiating is the lesser of the 4 evils.

    My original intent in responding to Panzer is to point out that the other leagues are even worse when it comes to officiating and that they have not, in any way, cracked down in incompetence like he claims.
