I think we all agree having an all-star type lineup with a few good hitters at the height of their game is EASIER to "coach" than this 2014 bunch - Long was unable to HELP produce better results...near the bottom in team offense. It's beginning to look as if those good hitters MADE Long and he has very few if any successes in turning around struggling hitters and making them at least "okay" hitters...I didn't hear many if any Yankee batters credit Long for helping them turn their seasons around...lmao. And when I say IT'S NO BIG THING --- I see no controversy or problem with letting Long go. Even if it were just cosmetic or sacrificial- so be it.....the numbers justify it. You just don't agree with me on this and vice versa- that's fine. Lets leave it at that.
