the problem isn't with av, its with the stanely cup run hangover, shit took a lot out of these guys and to be motivated in the first part of the season is tough, they will come again when season goes along, also, we lost some players have some injuries, i mean c'mon give he guy a break, everybody overperformed last year and they all wanted big contracts such as boyle, etc, it is what it is, people have to step up and fill the void. we play in the east guys....... don't forget that.

Everybody take a chill pill. We'll be fine. Just need to tread water till step and boyle get back. Like what malone brings and hope av leaves him out there. Not sure if miller is ever going to make it past AAAA status and if he's gonna be in av.'s doghouse rangers should look to move him before they destroy his value with someone like fast and see if they can bring back a reliable d-man. Don't see j.moore here long term as hasn't improved a bit since he joined us. If I was AV now I would bring up big mac and allen and make them our 3rd pair and give them some games and see what we have. I hear what some of you guys are saying about trading staal but if we do who the hell plays defense. I think we need to sign staal and hopefully to something in girardi's range. With his injuries and lack of offensive production don't really see any team paying him 6 plus unless his play rapidly explodes back to what he was before the concussions started. Hank needs to be the anchor here while av is still feeling out his lines and his 6th and 7th defenseman. So far he has been subpar and we can't afford that at the moment. Hope the duke stays up with nash and kreids with brass and zucc as that gives us 2 big lines. And when step gets back make him the center there and drop msl who keeps getting knocked off pucks and making turnovers on the 3rd line with hayes and hags. 4th line I like malone, moore and stempniak who is a lot better player than I thought he was. We have too much talent to flounder for long. A couple of untimely injuries and the assimilation of a bunch of new players to the team are the culprits in my mind right now.
If they lose to Carolina at home then maybe you start to wonder more about the team, but the coach is the least of their problems.
