Wow a 5K display iMac @ 27"?!?!?! That's insane?!?!?!?! And it's $2,700; which is less than 4K displays without a CPU!
27" is pretty tiny for that many pixels. I have to see it for myself at the apple store to better judge. At least you sit real close to it so you get the full effect. I'm waiting to install yosemite on my laptop.
I'll wait to see if it fucks shit up on people's computers (particularly cloud photo syncing) before installing.
Sweet, new Mac Mini! I guess I could get a macbook pro and use that for both home and travel. who knows, whatevz
Yeah, the mini looks really awesome for the money. It's a cheap office style computer that you can easily drop in place of a tower type PC (use same monitor, keyboard).
The $699 model drives a 4K monitor. You can buy one of those for $400 (Dell). Pretty sweet setup for $1100.
