I've been to Israel and the city where this club is from, Haifa. It's in northern Israel near the border of Lebanon. Actually pretty beautiful place overlooking the Mediterranean. As to the team, don't know shit about them.
You are partly right. Beit-Lehem for example is in the Palestinian territories (although the name is in Hebrew - "House of Bread") but Jesus was Jewish so he wasn't Palestinian by nationality.
Not meant to be. He was ethnically a Jew but born in what is now Palestine although it was actually named Palestine 100 years after his birth. Difference between cultural ethnicity and Nationality or region of birth. It is believed his original language was closer to Aramaic than Hebrew
