I'd say Mihalek is the heir apparent. After that probably Waller.

He's a high school junior, so he won't be suiting up let alone starting for the Ducks for another season and a half. Good looking prospect tho

I think Mahalak is going to be VERY VERY good! He may not have the calm of Marcus but who does? He may offset that with the energy that Joey brought. High IQ, can zip the ball, and can get you the yards if he has to take off. Very positive skill set, that said Waller just has something about him that makes you think ELECTRIC!

These are great problems to have!

Seth Green is a long way till signing but it's hard to not like what you see here too!

Thanks guys. Love my ducks, but just don't follow them as closely as you guys. So Mahalak will take over next season? Anyway you guys can put all our QBs bios up here, or links? Thanks again!

We don't know who will start next season, someone will have to win that honor next summer/fall. Mahalak came in last years class as a very heralded prospect currently on a Redshirt year leading the scout team. Junior Jeff Lockie is Marcus's backup and draws regular raves from the only reporter (Rob Moseley) who gets to see the Ducks practice. He doesn't have as big of an arm as Morgan, but is smart, a good athlete and makes plays... it will probably be between those two. He gets into games for blowouts, but by that time UO isn't pushing matters and runs a vanilla offense so we haven't been able to see what he can do. Another kid with an outside chance of winning the spot is in this years class (meaning he's currently a HS Sr.) named Travis Waller. He's another very highly touted prospect who is probably the best athlete & runner of the 3.

Again, since Oregon has closed their practices almost all the info we have to go on is 2nd hand and there is a lot of sunshine pumping. Regardless, Duck fans seem to have good reason to believe that life will go on after Marcus

Lockie has been under Marcus's shadow for so long, anything less than Tom Brady by him would be a let down for Duck fans! HAHA!
