    Re: Your team's announcers

Last nights Laker vs. Clipper game was on NBATV, so this gave a national audience the chance to hear our game callers, Joel Meyers & Stu Lance. When I hear other games being called from other teams I realize how good Joel and Stu are, I really like both of them, especially compared to other teams announcers, some of which are just flat out horrible. Some announcers that I like from other teams include the Nuggets and Net's announcers. Anyway, I just wanted to see what you guys thought about your team's play by play announcers and for those of you that watched the Lakers vs Clippers game on NBA tv that don't usually watch our announcers..what did you think of them?

The Pacers is Quinn Buckner, Chris Denari, and Stacey Paetz. They're all right. Sometimes I wonder if Stacey Paetz could tell you anything about the NBA with no text in front of her. We had Al Albert (the brother of Marv Albert) last year. He left, though.

If I had to pick the worst I'd have to say the two retards the Blazers have. They're biased, they're annoying, and they never know what they're talking about.

Though a bit biased, Mike and Tommy are very entertaining to have announcing games.

Chuck Swirsky does all the games. Jack Armstrong does the Raptor NBA TV games, and Leo Rautins does the other games.Chuck is awesome. He brings energy + excitement to the games, and it wouldnt be the same experience without him. I like Jack more than Leo. Jack knows what he is talking about. Leo doesn't all the time. Leo always rambles on about things, and doesn't have the same energy that Chuck has. Chuck and Jack are a better combo.Jack always has strange words for things. When someone makes a jumpshot, he goes "_____ knocking down the jimmy". Lol. He's from Brooklyn too, so he has a New York accent. Whenever the Raps block a shot he says "Get that garbage outta here". Lol, he's a pretty entertaining dude.

George Blaha is the best. The other guy, Greg Kelser, sucks. I can't stand him. Bring back Laimbeer.

I remember how he was calling David Harrison (Pacers) a fat ass once lol.

That's what, like 38 years now? Yes, I do believe it is.

    Re: Your team's announcers

Mike Gorman and Tommy Heinsohn are awesome, I love them. Tommy is the most biased person ever, but he's still entertaining. He does know what he's talking about, he was a very successful player and coach, and he is a funny dude. He yells at the refs all the time "That was a terrible call! Terrible call!" haha. But I love him.Gorman is the professional. He's a good guy, a great play-by-play announcer, he rarely messes up. I like Mike. But the thing I love the most about these two is the chemistry they have. They are great friends and they have been calling Celtics games together for 25-26 years. That's amazing. The day I watch a Celtics game and I don't hear Mike & Tommy, I don't know what I'll do lol. It just wouldn't be the same without them.

The difference is the markets. One's in Hollywood, being the reason he's in this 'walk of fame' which you probably made up, and McCoy is stuck in PHX.

    Re: Your team's announcers

I don't get to see many Nuggets games but I watch most Sixer games so I will grade them. Marc Zumoff and Steve Mix are really good. They have tTONS of energy and they know a lot about the game of basketball. Zumoff won an Emmy for best sports broadcaster eight times so far, Steve Mix played in the NBA and made the all star team so he has a feel for the game as well, Both are pretty good overall.IVEEEERRRRSOOON AT THE BUZZER! YEEEEESSSSSSSS.
