They still have quality players; Williams, Haslem, Flash, Gary is still servicable and Walker can be decent if kept under control, and Alonzo is a quality big man if they can keep him in the game. In my opinion there still a playoff team, but Shaq puts them in the hunt, plus some. To be honest, Shaq just standing on the court makes them a very good team.
I think that you quoted the wrong person.....But how do you expect Wade to win against a good and deep Orlando team when you are missing 3 starters from last years team? Wade had over 30 points, 15 assists, over 5 boards, yet they lose....This obviously isnt Wade...
Re: Do you question Dwyane Wade's leadership? I think wade was spoiled by having shaq just like kobe was. shaq makes everyone better and people have career years when they play with him just because of his presence. wade's rookie year he led the heat to the playoffs and they were a terrible team that year but he was fighting injuries but he still brought them to the playoffs. kobe struggled at first without shaq but he learned how to play without him and his team has gotten better each year. I think wade can do that. the heat have a few old dudes in payton and zo and some good pretty good youth in dorell wright and wayne simien. I have supreme confidence in dwyane wade.
Re: Do you question Dwyane Wade's leadership? Well, truth be told, I don't question any player's leadership. If DWade can't secure a victory without Shaq in the Heat's rotation, that's on him. I don't plan on bitching about it. Kobe couldn't win games back in 2004-05 after Shaq left. The Lakers were horrible! The next season? Nothing amazing, but at least Kobe helped them get into the Playoffs.Interestingly enough, I think Shaq is a horrible omen. Whenever he leaves a team, the team sucks. Look at the Orlando Magic and Penny Hardaway. :no3: ...smh...
Re: Do you question Dwyane Wade's leadership? Wade with 35/12/6 tonight on 10-14 shooting...dude is playing out of his mind. And they got a win!

Re: Do you question Dwyane Wade's leadership? Can't blame it on posey though he hasen't really played lately.

Re: Do you question Dwyane Wade's leadership? I don't. I know right now his team sucks and Wade just can't fix that. Wade is the only player on the team getting better while everyone else is getting worse with age.
