Re: Wally's numbers are impressing me Wally Szczerbiak's numbers have been impressing me so far this season. Obviously I don't see many Celtics games (4-5 a year) but looking at his numbers he seems to be doing pretty well.20 point scoring with pretty solid percentages. It might not be the best time to make this topic after his last game he had against Charlotte
Re: Wally's numbers are impressing me He's been so inconsistent though. He'll shoot 20% one night then 70% the next. It annoys the hell out of me.

It wasn't even his poor shooting in that game that we were all bothered by, it was the fact that he also couldn't even contain Adam Morrison (slower than the average baby) and Matt friggen Carroll. Gerald Green and Tony Allen played so much better than Wally that game. But overall, Wally has been pretty good. I like Wally, and those percentages are no joke, he's been doing that his whole career (shooting 48% plus from the field, 40% plus from 3, and 85-90% from the line). <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>He's been so inconsistent though. He'll shoot 20% one night then 70% the next. It annoys the hell out of me.</div> Wally really hasn't fit the mold of "inconsistant." He has had 7-8 good games, and only really 2 bad ones. When he is healthy, he has proven throughout his whole career that he is consistant, and I think he is a consistant player. Something is bothering him though, whether it be his knee or his back (he had knee surgery this summer and he sat out 1 game this year with back problems), I really think that. Maybe/hopefully I'm wrong, but we'll see.
Re: Wally's numbers are impressing me yeah, he has been a little inconsistent within the games. He'll have a horrible first half, then light it up in the 2nd. Kind of weird, but he does always seem to play well in the second half, when we need him more.
Re: Wally's numbers are impressing me He's been a little inconsistent so far this season I agree with that, but what I like about him here in Boston is he is out there for scoring. He never really got that chance in Minny, they were trying to make him do too much. This is the type of ball he should have been playing his whole career, he fits in real well here in Boston.
Re: Wally's numbers are impressing me you're right. I love how Wally, and everyone one else knows his role on the team. That should eventually develop some consistency. It certainly helps with the chemistry.
