I honestly like Ellis, but think people are overating him tremendously. He is better off the bench. He gives them the lift off the bench that they need. Putting him in a lineup with 2 other players that we know need the ball to be effective is not a smart move imo. Davis and Richardson need the ball to be effective. Taking more shots away from them isnt going to do any good. Bring him off the bench like the Suns do Barbosa, the Mavs do with Stackhouse, etc. I'd rather have Dunleavy or Pietrus at the SF because I think in the BIG WEST, Richardson couldnt gaurd the bigger small fowards. Same with Davis gaurding big two gaurds.

That's a lineup that Nellie uses often and it works. He has Ellis bring the ball up so he can get jumpers or penetration, or Baron will get the ball and we go off there. One lineup that was working well for a while was this:PG: BaronSG: EllisSF: J-RichPF: PietrusC: BiedrinsI liked it because Pietrus can defend bigger players and the PF's can't keep up with him.

In training camp he wasn't picking up the defense or the offense and being out for two weeks won't help him one bit.
