Don't know about you guys but Robinson might be playing limited minutes for a reason as well as Victor and Will. To me Wright is an above average defender and gets the b squad out in transition like Nico does. I like Wright as a sub.
A few of my thoughts. Dame- I don't mind that he started slowly but once it got into his head he needs to find other ways to matter. He should not keep shooting threes if it's not falling, draw some fouls or dunk in fools. Once he finally got a ball to drop he played better all around. If thAts what's needed to unleash the same then stotts needs to feed lil till he drops one. LMA. A beast and a half to star. Although his mid range is amazing, he causes so many problems when he takes it in strong. Hope he has another career year, I think he will. But sucker needs to box out. Kamen. A pick and roll defender finally. Love how well he plays alongside rolo. He has so many good parts to his game, mid range, passing, D, it shocks me he wasn't 8+ mil. I would like to see him play with Meyers, see if he can tutor sillynanny meyers. Batum- everything and more. I used to want him to be more aggressive but now I'm not so sure, it keeps him energetic and in the game start to finish. His D on point guards is a blessing. Wes is still getting better, amazing. Solid man! Blake was good but not special even if he made some shots. His D seems more suspect then I recall. Nobody else was decent, but that's all right for one ge. Hoefully cj improves otherwise Barton will need to be inserted.
http://forwardcenter.net/practie-notes-praise-for-blake-kaman-talks-dirty/ • It’s not often that Terry Stotts singles out an specific player for effusive praise, at least publicly. That’s not to say he’s stingy with his kudos, just that he seems to prefer emphasizing the successes of the team as a whole rather than the individual. After all, it is a team game. But when asked about what he thought of Steve Blake’s performance, Stotts was quick to make his appreciation for his effort known. “Steve played terrific,” said Stotts. “You watch the game film afterwards and how many times he’s in the right place defensively, gets rebounds, makes the right play. Like so many guys, whether they’re starters or guys coming off the bench, not defining how they played by whether they shot the ball well or not. I think Steve’s performance last night was indicative of that.” Blake finished the game with a plus/minus of +13, which was tied for the best on the team with CJ McCollum, and helped keep the Trail Blazers afloat after Damian Lillard had to go to the bench with early foul trouble. “I think us picking up Steve was a lot better than what people might have thought right away,” said Lillard. “Every time he’s on the floor he impacts the game. He’s a great playmaker, he’s savvy. He’s constantly doing things that I’m watching and I can learn from. He really helped us last night. I think he had five assist and about five rebounds, something like that. That’s not what people pay attention to, but they were all big for us.”
