So much for being the next Walt Frazier/Earl Monroe eh? How do Knick fans feel about these two, Do you want either one of them on this team?

Not to mention so much for being the next Isiah Thomas and Joe Dumars, right?Anyway, I really don't know who the Knicks would be better off with, and who they would be better off trading. They need to shop both of them around the league and just ship whichever player they get the better offer for...Either way I don't see Isiah Thomas in New York after this season, and I'm sure the new GM will clean house.

Isiah wants to be like the Suns bring back fromer backcourt duos but it isnt working right now. If we were to take both of them off the team we would have a decent lineup.[IMG]G:NateSG:CrawfordSF:Q-RichPF:FryeC:Curry

With an honorable mention towards David Lee to give him a lot of playing time.

Eddy Curry is useless too, I'd rather see David Lee in there instead..

Yeah Eddy Curry issn't playing well...Hes averaging only 6 boards a game, which is absolutely pathetic for a center, and of course he doesn't make up for it by having only 12 points per game so far. Hes not a good blocker, stealer, or passer, and quite frankly I am getting absolutely pissed that he is continuing to play this bad. I do think that he is pretty young and maybe some more time to blossom would be neccesary, but still he needs to pick it up some for the Knicks to win.David Lee is playing very well in my eyes so far this year. He reminds me of that guy that will just get a whole team jacked up. Sort of like Ryan Hollwey and the Rangers. But he backs that up with some decent numbers. He is pretty much averaging 10 points 9 rebounds which is more then Curry and he is also 2 short of Curry, but we need him in there to get boards and he has been more succesful so far.I like David Lee more period end of conversation...

I never understood why Isiah went out to get Francis. Well, I never understood much of anything Isiah has done except draft fairly well. But these two obviously can't play together, and I never thought they could. They are the same player with the same mindset (get mines).

Personally, I say get rid of both "Franchise" and "Starbury."

I knew that backcourt would never work. isiah, I used to have respect for, mostly for his drafts but how stupid are you? you trade 2 first rounders for a slob in curry and actually say that you think curry is going to be better than anyone the bulls would've picked. it looks like greg oden will be the 2nd pick the knicks should've had that goes to the bulls because of sheer stupidity and arrogance. isiah is an idiot and I hope he gets fired ASAP so we can try and get jerry west who I heard is leaving memphis? not sure how true that is but he'd make a much better gm than zeke.three guys that need to go......marbury, francis and curry.

He spends to much money on overpriced washed up talent and inexchange he passes up the players that could be the pulse of our team by trading our draft picks.I never liked the guy, now I just hate him more.

keep em both but have one or the other come off the benchIf one does show hustle immediately bench them till they learn....Francis to me shows more hustle and at least tries to get the team involved, Marbury to me looks pissed everytime he comes down the court that he even has to pass the ball....I dont know if either are the answer but each individually sure has a hell of a lot of talent to offer if allowed to play "their game"...meaning iso's pick and rolls and driving to the hoop, but it sacrifices team play

I can't believe this idiot isiah. he benches francis in the game to start crawford and now he's going back to starting francis. make up your mind, as a matter of fact, fire yourself.

Keep marbury, definately. Yes, he hasn't done much in his career, but when he is the main option and relied on to do most of the work he produces around 20/8. Remember what he did with the Suns and what he did with NY in his 1st year? Francis doesn't have that ability. Without him and Francis they will lose a ton of firepower, and without the sparks off the bench that nate and lee offer they'd be even worse off.Get rid of Francis and Curry, get another big man, start rebuilding.

I would get rid of Francis. Starbury is the leader of the team. He's been there longer, and he knows the guys better. Francis is a ball hog, and not as good a pg as Marbury either. You definately need to get rid of one of those guys, but if they had the choice, I think they should choose to get rid of Francis, and then maybe dump Marbury off somewhere in the off-season if neccisary.

Did I ever say they should keep him though? This thread is about Marbury and Francis, and I posted something relevant to Francis.
