<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Harris hopes party doesn't end tonightGuard was in a zone against San Antonio in last year's playoffs12:01 AM CST on Friday, November 24, 2006By EDDIE SEFKO / The Dallas Morning News Going back to San Antonio should bring back fond memories for Devin Harris of his coming-out party in the playoffs last spring. The way he's playing now is creating new memories, not only for Harris, but for Jason Terry. Harris' play at the point has allowed Terry to spot up for more open 3-pointers. Terry's not satisfied with the way he's been shooting, but he's hit at least two 3-pointers in six consecutive games. "It keeps you fresh, especially the way Devin is playing," Terry said of not having to do all the ball-handling duties. Coach Avery Johnson estimates Terry handles the ball about 30 percent less than he did last season. "He's a very unique player," Johnson said. "He's one of our most effective pick-and-roll players, and he can push it in transition. But that skill that he has to shoot the basketball is pretty rare." As for his shooting, Terry looked at his 7-of-18 from Tuesday night and 6-of-14 on Monday night and said: "If that's a roll, I can't wait until I get hot. I know I'm a better shooter than I'm doing now." One tough dude: Johnson doesn't hold his tongue when it comes to praising Greg Buckner. "One of the toughest defenders we've had here in years," the coach said. Buckner has been getting the toughest defensive assignments and handling the duties well. That means he'll be seeing a lot of Manu Ginobili and/or Tony Parker. Injury update: Everyone practiced Thursday morning with the exception of Devean George (right knee). "Everybody's status for the game is still uncertain," Johnson said. "We'll get through shootaround and see where it goes." Josh Howard looked good in his first practice after missing the last eight games with a sprained ankle. D.J. Mbenga went through part of practice after missing two weeks with a foot injury. Turkey Trotters: Four members of the Mavs' organization took part in the eight-mile Turkey Trot on Thursday morning. Media-relations director Sarah Melton, equipment manager Al Whitley, television play-by-play man Mark Followill and assistant producer Dave Keeney ran in the event, which benefited the YMCA. They all finished the race in slightly more than an hour.</div>Howard will be missed in this game but I like the matchups of putting Buckner on Ginobili and Harris on Parker. Terry can't guard Parker as been proven before. Hopefully Buckner gets the start for this game.

Man when I start coming around to George's play, he's out again. I hope this isn't something that occurs throughout the season. I like what he brings to the team, his shooting is off but rebounding, defense are more important from him.
