In the Sacgame, Just watch the last minute of the 3rd quarter and the first couple of the 4th. Blake hits a 3 , sets up Kaman perfectly for a layup, and sets up 2-3 other players who miss wide open shots. There is no debate IMO
Lillard is averaging 15 pts and 3.5 assists with an abysmal shooting percentage. No hyperbole here. Just pointing it out for fun though. I know it doesn't mean much considering teams are game planning their defense to stop Lillard. I'm fairly confident he'll get back on track since he had many stretches of bad games the last two years.
A first rate PG doesn't go 7 for 23 and post a poor assist box also. One game maybe, the first two games of the season suggest he doesn't know what his mission is about.
im sure there have been plenty of elite pgs that have started a season poorly. but please, build upon the strawman. ill continue to laugh when he comes around and you guys will look silly. so much fun.
If we're going to compare to other PGs this early in the season, Lillard is shooting 40% from the three point line. Curry is shooting 22% from three.
Then we have Ricky Rubio with 17 assists tonight. Dang, I like watching that kid play. Fouled out on chicken shit call though, ahead by two. Then comes Mo Williams into the game and that was the script. The last assist recorded was by Rubio.
If they counted that pass as an assist, it is charitable. He jacked up a prayer about eight seconds before while Martin watched. Typical Mo style. Mo 2, Rubio 17. One knows the game, the other hopes he can fake it.
