0-0 after 2. Need to play a strong 3rd and get this one under the W column. At least we're out shooting them almost 2:1, but what counts is how many go in.
This PP has really struggled to score. Hopefully with Stepan coming back, and especially when Boyle comes back, it will improve. We will need it. Also Kreider has to do more IMO. Again, hopefully with Stepan coming back he will ignite Kreider's game. If you go MZA/Brass/Nash and Kreider/Stepan/MSL as your top two lines that is pretty solid.
Frustrating we couldn't score goals and get that 2nd point. If we lost because our D got worn down that would be one thing, but to lose because we can't score 1 goal is very frustrating. Now the real battle begins. Best case we are without McD for 15 games +/- (which is 5-6 weeks). We'll see how we handle it. I think we will try and deal for a dman, especially if Klein is out for a while and if McD needs surgery and is done for months...maybe the season.
