    Was just there about 3 weeks ago, and they were working on that building thats supposed to resemble statue of liberty. Pretty cool building.

    I love the design.

    The cladding was made in Oregon.

    In fact, the new tower (tallest residential tower in Portland) that's under-construction in the Pearl is using the identical glass as the new OWTC.

    That site looks nothing like it did before, but it is still a very eerie vibe there. Right smack dab in the middle of Manhattan and it is silent.

    Not exactly the middle of Manhattan. Right on the souther coast basically. If that shit was in the middle of Manhattan when it was attacked, holy shit, that would've been a whole other thing.
