I wasn't going to vote but this one measure I think forces my hand and makes me deliver my ballot. Kitzhaber is a done deal.
A yes vote on 91 doesn't mean you want to smoke pot. That is utterly ignorant. Anyone who wants to smoke legally can already do it. It's called ridiculous medical marijuana laws.
Let me just state that I choose to live my life in a way that will allow me to enter through the narrow gate in the end. And everything I do and how I do it is effected by this line of thinking.
Good on you my man! With only one live to live, there is no need to waste it on something so frivolous.
More importantly, where in the Holy Book does it say that entrance via the narrow gate is dependent on how you live your life? Isn't it supposed to be dependent on His life (and death, and resurrection)? How would smoking impact that?
Chris Dudley should have ran again, he was much better than the crazy Southern Oregon republican that's running now. People up north aren't going to vote for a republican like that no matter how bad the current governor is.
I have never smoked weed in my life, but not voting for it to be legalized is asinine. The tax implications alone would be worth it
86 - N (because I read that the legislature can take from this fund in certain cases, and I do not trust the politicians to not dip into this money, so basically its just another slush-fund in my eyes) 87 - N (I believe there are too many potential conflict of interests here) 88 - N (and not just a no, an emphatic, FUCK NO) 89 - Y (I wasn't quite sure what the hell this was about, I read quite a few "For" arguments and kept thinking to myself, how is this not already the way it is? Someone please explain if you can...) 90 - N (Keep it the way it is...) 91 - Y (Yes, because LEO's spend far to much time and money on busting stupid petty stuff; their time and effort can hopefully be moved elsewhere, also because I do not care if people smoke, it's no worse than tobacco, or alcohol IMO) 92 - Y (I do not care the cost, more information of what goes into food the better, this is a start. It may not be the best, but at least it's a start. There are way to many "extras" in our food now and that is evident by the "health food store" / "Farmers market" revival.)
