Do they see Arod as a DH or a non player? I would love to add big time power at DH like Cruz. Wish Arod was not in the picture.

...I seriously have my doubts if he can even play anymore, or at least play well enough to make the Yanx' roster. I gotta believe that ST will expose him as being washed up.

...there's also still a possibility that the Yanx find a way to void his contract and a lot of things can happen between now and the start of the 2015 regular season but they still have to walk the tight rope as far as dealing with ARod because they certainly don't want to say the wrong things and leave themselves open for a lawsuit. Right now, Hal and Cash are saying the right things by claiming that they welcome ARod back with hopes of him helping the team.
...but secretly, I'm sure they wish he'd just go away, because let's face it, he not only sued everyone but the bat boy last year, he's also such a polarizing jack ass that he'd be a huge distraction that this team does not need.

...and don't forget, if he's ruled to be physically unfit to play, the Yanx have an insurance policy on him.

...but again, if he can't play anymore the Yanx won't keep him around just because they still owe him money. And there's still at least 3 years left for the Yanx to recoup some of that money even if ARod is no longer with the team.

Headley, reminds me of Brosius, defends well, steady Eddie at the dish with occasional pop, I hope the Yankees bring him back. Saw on MLB that Sandoval declined his qualifying offer with the Bostons having huge interest in his service.

 

For that to happen we have to hope that he can't even hit his weight during ST.

 

^^^ I think it's a pretty safe bet...besides, also, his defensive range already already sucked before his suspension so I doubt he can still play 3B competently at all anymore. Now he'd be so slow that pigeons will roost on his shoulder confusing him as a statue and probably shit all over him...which is a good thing.

...if they keep him, he can sit on the bench and collect his check as far as I'm concerned.

 

I like that visual, maybe if he collects enough pigeon shit, they can relocate him in Central Park....
