Pretty crazy. Let's say Memphis, SA, Houston, Dallas, NO, Phoenix, GS, and Clippers have the top 8 records in no particular. Throw in the Kings and that's 9 ahead of us but we would still clinch 4th seed (no HCA though) in the playoffs as long as we won our division. In this scenario, the 8th best team does not make the playoffs. Crazy. huh?
It's going to work itself out. Teams will suffer injuries, like the Thunder, or go on slumps. It has only been a few games.
