Harry Reid gave a statement congratulating McConnell - "the message is clear, the American people want us to work together" Typical snake that he is. NO HARRY, THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ARE TIRED OF YOU AND YOUR LEADERSHIP OF THE SENATE- ACTUALLY STIFLING OPEN DEBATE ON NUMEROUS BILLS. Unbelievable how "our" media never held this weasel's feet to the fire these past few years. He would give his usual horsesh!t about the Republicans being "obstructionists" when HE was the one all the time doing the obstructing and blocking.......and the media just allowed it to float by without pressing him about HIS constant blockading of BILLS from the House. There's politicians who talk out of both sides of their mouths... ....and then there's Harry Reid, he speaks out of his top and bottom.
Its like that old adage, "How can you tell that a politician is lying?................His lips are moving".
It was nice to see for sure, but there were some losses too.... Not that Corbett was good, but Wolf is going to be a bad governor for my current state of Pennsyltucky... He wants to double the states income tax.... Double.... Others as well.... But it's nice to see chief-golfs-alot now officially a lame duck white house resident
CA gets another term of Moonbeam, and we just passed some insane props...again. I'm leaving this state as soon as I can arrange a transfer.
We have offices in Seattle (1st choice), HQ outside Boston near NH border, live in NH (2nd). Plus we just bought a competitor and they have some interesting locations including Laramie Wyoming. The CA golden state of opportunity is no more. Its a one party rule cesspool of social engineering controlled by illegal alien gangs of LA and the gay mafia of SF.
Amen Tom, Caly is not anything anyone makes it out to be, unless they paint (like you said) one social cesspool. If life works out the way we hope, we too shall be in Coos Bays soon enough. Altho' at times, that seems like a dream on a distant horizon. Did I say, i cannot stand one thing about this State? The longer I am here, the more the sour taste and disdain for this state, its self entitlement mentality, and a bum on ever fkn corner, I've had enough......! Gave it more than a fair shake too, and Caly still is going to hell faster each year.
BTW- Tom, you've been to Seattle right, for work and other reasons? My Grandparents lived in Seattle, Renton, Kirkland, and Bremerton thru the decades of the 70s - 80s. I loved everything about Seattle, less the constant misty days. But I got used to that. The toll bridges in Seattle get a bit to many and ridiculous at that. Yet, I'd rather live in a dump in Seattle, than a Chateau in California. Altho' Eureka or Chico are about the only two nice Caly Towns I'd even consider living in. Which makes this Mojave look like a toxic wasteland. I'd have no problem using the Mojave as a Nuclear Test Range, but let me get out first....!!!
After 23 years in the desert in on as SoCal, were ready for a move. Steph spent a lot of her childhood in BC, WA, OR and Idaho. I miss the forests and mountains, really enjoyed my college years in upstate NY. We miss rain and snow, seasons, etc. As for visiting the NW....all the coffee and weed you can consume, lol!
Nashua New Hampshire is a nice town, the State of Hampshire along with the rest of the New England Region is beautiful in the fall.
As well as some of the best salmon, prawns and seafood in general you will ever eat outside of Alaska. I loved as a kid, walking thru vacant parcels of hills, to always find endlkess blueberries growing wild everywhere.... A nice town, not to big, not to small. With all the amenities one could ask for. And, yep, can't beat the Wildlife in the NorthWest....you'll see plenty of legit totem poles too, as one enters some smaller towns.
I would love to see NH and all the New England states actually, but I would proudly sport my Yankee gear.
