I just moved here from Portland; its freaking awesome city. killer music, great downtown, cool capital buildings, U of T, nice weather, diverse types of people, awesome trails by the river, none of the vagrants of Portland, manageable traffic, low crime, no income tax.

But I don't know a single Blazer fan here! I got league pass and plan on making it to some of the road games in Texas.

Hey, I am a huge Blazers fan and moved from Portland to Austin about a year ago. I'm hoping to find the Dallas game somewhere tomorrow night. I live down south. We should catch a game.

Sixth street, Rainey, either Franklins (3 hour wait) or Slat Lick bbq, Barton springs if weather is nice, Hopdoddy has great burgers, check out south congress, Petes dueling piano bar( on sixth), west sixth if you feel like spending money (dogwood, Jblacks). Depends on what your looking for. Dinner on lake Travis at Ables on the lake is good. TExmex not bad either.

Cool! Yeah we should meet up for a game sometime. I didn't check this thread in time for the Dallas game but it was great to watch the win tonight.

I live on the south side of the river between I35 and Congress so I'm within walking distance of everything.

We got to Franklins at 9:45 am. They don't open until 11, and they were already sold out.

Really enjoyed the LBJ museum libray and the Texas White House. Went to Austin Draft house last night, which was a pretty nice place to get some food, beer and watch a movie.
