Only if there was some way to get him for only bench players, no starters. It can't happen financially.
He's a chucker and Laker anyway.

IF he bought into a 6th man role, we would be instant contenders

If they develop some kind of ego-destroying lobotomy that might happen.

If it would mean a championship, Welcome to Portland Kobe Bryant and see ya Wes Mathews! You CAN NOT fall in love with players.

Bringing Kobe in now at his stage of his career would be similar to when we brought Pippen in at his stage of his career. There is life there just as there was for Pippen. Kobe would help a team that he would FIT on. A team like New York for example. But I don't think he fit's here.

You wouldn't even do it if it meant a championship?

Okay first off, it's gonna take more than Nick and spare parts. Most likely it's Matthews, t rob and Batum for Kobe.

So before anyone, and I mean anyone thinks we can grab kobe for Batum, robinson and change is fucking high.

Second... I will not condone smoking crack and posting in here

Kobe has a no trade clause he could deny a trade if he thought his new team were giving up too much.

Guess it's moot then huh? Lakers won't let him go for shit. They would be fine with keeping him a Laker for life. 2 more years of this ain't that long to wait before you rebuild

But the reality is he absolutely wouldn't buy into that role ever! Even if he was using a walker

Or even third man role, for that matter. But he wouldn't.

And I still wouldn't want him.
