It is but with all the wishes I'm seeing on TV I just thought I'd jump the gun. And besides, EVERYDAY should be veterans day.
http://www.foxnews.com/entertainmen...ity-show-about-veterans-struggling-with-ptsd/ This series is probably going to be rough to watch at times, but I think its going to be one powerful show Vets and their care.
Yeah I saw the coming attractions on that & yes I imagine that will be a tough show to watch for many. Hell the shows about disabled veterans chokes me up.
Paws and Stripes, great idea from the Staneks, and continued success to that program. Anyone who KNOWS dogs is keenly aware of the unconditional love and companionship they provide to their human caretakers. My girlfriend and I rescued a 2 year old Beagle 8 years ago and after the bonding process was completed he turned out to be a wonderful dog. Here in this area people are encouraged to take their dogs to the local VA Hospital for interaction with the patients.
I take my done Ajax everywhere. He is a descendent of a WWII devil dog, so he gets lots of Semper Fi from the Marines he meets. For some reason he doesn't like swabbies which always makes the marines smile.
