All that talk of an Evil Dead TV show is coming to fruition. Starz has ordered 10 episodes of Evil Dead director Sam Raimi’s Ash Vs. Evil Dead series with a 2015 premiere date. Raimi, his longtime producing partner Rob Tapert and Bruce Campbell will serve as executive producers of the long-awaited followup to the horror franchise. The original filmmakers are also returning. Campbell will be reprising his role as Ash, the stock boy, who has spent the last 30 years avoiding responsibility, maturity and the terrors of the Deadites. Unfortunately for Ash, this neutral era is about to end. A Deadite plague threatens to destroy all of mankind, and Ash must face his personal and literal demons. Raimi will direct the first episode of Ash Vs. Evil Dead, which he co-wrote with his brother Ivan (Darkman) and Tom Spezialy (Chuck).
